Terms of Service
The plain-English rules for using FlyCodes. By using the site you agree to these terms.
Using FlyCodes
FlyCodes is a free reference tool for IATA and ICAO airport and airline codes. It is provided for informational purposes, with no account and no sign up required. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the site.
The data
FlyCodes is built on open datasets, credited on our Data and sources page, plus hand-written content. We aim for accuracy but cannot guarantee it. Codes, routes, and airline status change over time, so always confirm anything safety-critical, such as bookings, flight operations, or regulatory filings, against official IATA, ICAO, airline, or airport sources. FlyCodes is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to IATA, ICAO, or any airline or airport.
Free JSON API and embed widget
The JSON API and the embed widget are free to use, including in commercial projects, provided the widget's link back to FlyCodes is kept intact. We may change, rate-limit, or discontinue these free tools at any time, though we will try to avoid breaking changes where practical.
Acceptable use
Please do not scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for other visitors, attempt to attack or probe its infrastructure, bypass rate limits or security measures, or present the underlying data as your own without the attribution described on the Data and sources page.
Advertising
FlyCodes may display advertising served by third-party networks to help keep the site free. Ads are governed by those providers' own terms, and by using the site you accept that ads may appear alongside the content. See our Privacy Policy for how ads and cookies work.
No warranty
FlyCodes is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, FlyCodes and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on its data.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the site evolves, for example when we add advertising or new tools. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. Last updated: July 8, 2026.
